OpenType Fonts
- 1. What are OpenType fonts?
- a. OpenType is the most universal font format available. These fonts also contain both the screen and printer font data in a single file. OpenType fonts can be used on either a Mac or PC and they can store up to 65,000 characters. The extra storage space allows font designers to
include any extras, add-ons, and alternate style fonts that normally would have to be packaged as separate fonts.
