Installing Fonts on Mac OS X

OpenType, Postscript Type 1 & TrueType fonts

To install a font, follow these steps:

1. Open up Hard Disk
2. Open Up the Library Folder
3. Open up the Fonts Folder
4. Highlight and drag the fonts into the Fonts folder
   • For Type 1 fonts drag the screen font (suitcase with "A" on it) and the printer font (not the .AFM file)

Installing Fonts on Mac OS 9 or OS 8

Postscript Type 1 & TrueType fonts

To install a font, follow these steps:

1. Open up the Hard Disk
2. Open up the System Folder
3. Open up the Fonts Folder
4. Highlight and drag the fonts to the Fonts folder
   • For Type 1 fonts drag the screen font (suitcase with "A" on it) and the printer font (not the .AFM file)

Note: OpenType fonts are not supported on Mac OS 8 or 9.
